Born, raised and classically trained in Switzerland, Gérard Dubois has won numerous medals at culinary competitions throughout the world. After an illustrious career with Hilton International where he was Area Pastry Chef for Asia based in Hong Kong, Gérard became the founder and proprieter of La Rose Noire. This year, 2006 commemorates La Rose Noire's 15th anniversary of service to Hong Kong's hospitality industry with Gérard Dubois firmly at its helm. Married with two children, Gérard calls Hong Kong home although he continues to branch his company into Mainland China with the recent opening of a second production house in Dangguan.
